I only received the stock "canned" email from HB and not the personal one with more information.

I too decided to make a request from Magix support. What a maze that was to find a way to actually email them. But it's done.

As @Photo_G wrote, "We shall see..."

@Jrg-Malejka @Reyfox Here's what I received from Magix support again (the same as a few weeks a ago):

"...please contact Humble Bundle, they will have to provide you with such a voucher." 😒

@Photo_G did you send them the "new" email? I just received the same one that @Jrg-Malejka received from HB.

I will wait to see what Magix says about my original request.

@Reyfox No. I haven't heard from HB yet. I followed up with Magix on my earlier case, and that was the reply.

@Photo_G I wonder how many emails were sent to HB about the missing Mercalli.

As I wrote earlier, I have the Suite already. This is an exercise in me seeing what will happen. I hope for those who bought and assumed they'd get Mercalli will. And again, I am happy either way with getting VPX for that low price.

@Reyfox Dunno. Same here, I've really been enjoying VPX.

I just opened a new ticket with Magix support about the lack of proDAD Mercalli V5 Suite issue..... so we’ll see what happens.

However, I suspect they will tell me to take it up with HB, (Which I have already done)

I received this email from Magix this morning. Maybe making some headway here.

I sent them the HB transaction ID that I had in my PayPal receipt.

You should have received an additional code/coupon from Humble Bundle for the pro DAD Mercalli.

Please send us the complete data of your order for verification.

I just got a reply from Magix support regarding the proDAD Mercalli V5 Suite issue

Pretty much what I expected

“Unfortunately, only Humble can provide you with the code for Mercalli V5 Suite.”

I already have a ticket open at HB - so we’ll wait what happens.

@Former user what a strange email. How can HB provide something that they (AFAIK) don't have? All the codes have to come from Magix. I think someone in Magix made a mistake in sending the information for the sale and now they are passing the "buck", as we say in the States, back and forth with HB.

I honestly didn't even give it a second thought in thinking Mercalli was included and that it was an error on Magix part supplying the wrong information.

I think that there are more people writing HB about this issue.

Magix asked me for the serial number page we all get when we bought the HB package. I sent it to them and am waiting to hear back from them.

HB sent me an email saying something to the point of that this issue was resolved and click on "Good" or "Bad". I clicked on "Bad" and included how Magix said it was them, and they said it was Magix. I wrote that I felt like a tennis ball in a tennis match. That if HB is going to put a bundle on their webpage, to at least proof read it and make sure what is listed is included in the HB bundle.

I just received this email from HB:

Hi there,

Thank you for your patience and I apologize for the trouble! Our Operations team is going to reach out to MAGIX again and see if we can find a firm resolution for this.

Thank you and I'll reach back out soon.

@Photo_G I was polite in all my emails to both Humble Bundle and Magix. I supplied all the information that was requested from Magix. When I buy anything, I have in Gmail, Labels and keep all emails.

It took a little time, but considering getting VPX12 and Mercalli V5 Suite, which is also working in MEP2022 along with the standalone version of Mercalli V5 for $25USD is wonderful.

As I wrote before, this was just a mental exercise for me to see how things go. Well, to my surprise, everything was accomplished, and Magix came through for me. 👍💯😄

@Reyfox Same here. They were also very nice. I just received my serial number too! 😁

@Photo_G Good for you!! I think someone at Magix will be talked to about this "mistake" in the info they sent HB.

It took a while, but now editing life is good. I guess @fomer user left or was removed before the finale, which was spectacular.

...and Mercalli V5 Suite is still listed on the HB bundle with 3 hrs left to go!

,,,aaand, it's gone. What an awesome deal...maybe we'll see something great like this again one day!

It most certainly was an outstanding deal. That, and MEP2022 with Newblue FX TotalFX 7 was another.

And if you have an older version of Vegas Pro and wanted to upgrade to the latest, and you know someone with VP19 and can access Vegas Hub, you can get Edit for $80 and other discounts for Pro and Post.

I wonder how much extra programming time Magix could have devoted to getting MEP 2022/V{X 13 right the first time had they not been "giving away" VPX 12 and Mercalli 5... Yes, I am a hypocrite as I bought a HB copy of 12. Not that I've used it in anger yet. 🙃
