I make recordings with 120 FPS or 240 FPS that are not only processed in one project.
Now I would like to prepare it, cut out parts and export them so that others can also access the 120 fps or 240 fps and create their own slow-motion scene from it if they wish.
Unfortunately, your first post is to a thread requesting user feedback on the latest version of Magix Movie Studio. Your question is not really feedback but rather a request for help and so is inappropriate for this thread, sorry.
Please start a new thread with your question, including full details of exactly which edition of MMS 2023 you have. Have you registered and fully activated the purchase?

It has been a very long time since I purchased an upgrade and went from being fairly competent to now having almost not idea how to use a product. If I understand it, there was a radical departure from Version 17 to version 18, where the Sony base was no longer used. This was for me a terrible decision. I upgraded from 17 to 2023 Platinum thinking I would get more options and faster performance but instead I have a piece of software requiring a nearly all new learning curve, I can't even use it. Terminology has been altered or eliminated - screens are rearranged and some things no longer exist. The only answer I see on the forums is look at the tutorials. I wasn't upgrading to find a new use of my time while I try to absorb your vision of how I should be doing things. As far as I am concerned, if I have to develop a whole new way of approaching my work I might as well look at all the software out there. It seems that I will be starting over. You wanted feedback? This thing is forcing me to stick with 17 as long as I can and look for future direction. I really don't care how great it claims to be - this product sucks for my needs..
@Skeetorama Movie Studio 18 on is a completely different product to your old Vegas Movie Studio of which 17 was the last version produced by Vegas. The new Movie Studio is Magix Movie Edit Pro renamed. Hence the reason you are finding it very different. There are other posts about this on this forum and on the Vegas forum.
Ericinz - if you read my post I figured that out. Unfortunately the product as it was promoted to me through Vegas was an an upgrade. Not so. I get that now. Money poorly spent on the wrong product.
@Skeetorama The upgrade promotion through Vegas was in my view very misleading behaviour by Magix. It took them a year to move "Movie Studio" from the Vegas product page to the Magix product page despite the fact it was no longer a Vegas product. Plus the never ending misleading emails and popup when you opened Vegas MS versions pushing the "upgrade".
Suggest you do what others have done and demand a refund. If it's declined on the basis of the cancellation or refund clause go back and point out their misleading behaviour. Others have been successful.
I suggest that you take a long hard look at what you have with Magix Movie Studio. It does the same thing as Vegas MS and a whole lot more. It has more features and much, much more content, great stuff for the consumer market. The only drawback is that even though can import Vegas MS files, you only get whatever was on the timeline, no effects. It's best to continue detailed projects in VMS.
I have used MEP for several years. I just bought/upgraded to 2023 a few days ago and it is significantly slower and has problems with black screens. It also automatically removes the previous MEP from my computer. I'm going to be very unhappy if this new version doesn't not resolve the problems.
MMS2023 does nothing for me over previous recent versions (2021 is the best for me), although I have an old computer that can't take advantage of the newish GPU usage.
Re your black screens and sluggish behaviour, try changing the hardware acceleration dropdowns in Program Settings (Device Options tab).
Re the wiping, you'll only keep the previous version if you buy the full-priced next-version. If you upgrade, it wipes the previous version. But, with 2023, they seem to have swapped back to the standalone upgrades. I've just checked my Magix account; it looks like you can roll back to "Magix Movie Edit Pro Premium" because it, as well as "MMS 2023", is listed in "my products".
It does work with Win 11. I have answered your question in the other topic you posted to.
In future would you please start your own topic and people will get to you as soon as we can. There are not always people on the forums depending on which time zone they reside in and we are only fellow users, not Magix staff. The point of starting new topics is to make it easier for others to find posts that may help with their own problem which may have the same solution.
As @CubeAce (Ray) writes, you have posted to a thread for feedback about MMS2023 with a quite specific question. Please do as he advises and start a new thread with your question, including full details of your computer hardware.
I have installed Movie Studio 2022 successfully except for the 2 NewBlue Essentials 5 Ultimate and NewBlue Stylisers 5 Ultimate effects. I start the program; it tells me that these are ready for download (individually), which I do and it then installs then successfully (?). I restart the program each time, but the download invitation has not disappeared in either case. Have I missed a step somewhere (it does not ask for any codes during the process). Any help appreciated. Thank uou.
Please read this post which details a method to overcome this problem. Although the post refers specifically to Titler Pro it seems the method also works for other NB products.
Using the 2023 trial version: Trying to do a zoom effect that persists from one clip to another (it's two contiguous dashcam clips). This seems impossible. I did learn that I need to shuttle the video via the effects window to create keyframes in the right spots but still there seems to be some zooming randomness anyway. I've grouped the two clips together. When going to the 2nd clip the preview window still shows the zoom effect rectangle in the right spot but when rendering the zoom effect is removed. Additionally the keyframe controls are usually grayed out and I'm not sure what's different that causes them to (very) occasionally be lit up. I'd copy/paste the keyframe if I could. My initial thoughts are that this software is very bugged. For what it's worth, I come from a Vegas Movie Studio environment and know exactly how I'd do it there.. Screenshot of grayed out controls attached.
There is no bug here. You can't use an effect that covers two objects and I doubt that you could do it Vegas MS - effects are applied to one event at a time.
To do what you want to do, you have to use the Size/Position/Rotation effect. See my tutorials (link below to the first one) on how to use it.
In the first clip, you apply the SPR effect, set an SPR keyframe where you want to start the zoom, presumably zoom in. Go to the end of the clip and set the zoom for what you want. A keyframe will be automatically created. Copy the keyframe and select the second object. Go to the beginning of the second object, apply effect SPR and paste the keyframe. Move along the timeline and zoom in to where you want it to end; a kf will be created automatically. Done. You can move the keyframe if needed, by dragging it.
When the keyframe icons are greyed out in the kf area, you have to click on it (Size/Position/Rotation) at the left end of the keyframe area. Make sure to click on the top row, otherwise you will be modifying just an individual effect.
