Video Pro X and Vegas Pro exports

I am getting ready to submit a web series to filmhub for distribution possibilities. They will accept mp4 but would prefer ProRes HQ or DNxHR HQ, and PCM audio. I don't see those in the exports of Video Pro X, but I think I read ProRes in the exports of Vegas. I have asked before if there is a reason to switch and the general consensus was they are so similar there is no reason. But I am seeing for this there might be a reason. But before I do does Video Pro X have those exports or something similar and I am just not seeing them? I would really hate to have to go through all the editing process again just to do this. Though I guess I could transfer an MP4 version over to Vegas and then export again, though I don't know if that would cause problems. I am a film maker not a video software expert.

Any thoughts or suggestions, know of how to export from Video Pro X in these formats?

@doug_mccarron NBFX work both in Vegas and VPX/MMS for me just fine. It's the same plugins that I have from them, and you were not specific in which ones were problematic.

As for FXHome, did you write support? And save your downloads to two different hard drives, or to the cloud.

Suggestion for further questions you might have. Give all the necessary information that would be required to help you. If it's about plugins, which specific ones, etc..

I wrote FX home support, I guess I should also contact magix support

The analogy you use here is interesting, except that there are actually two birds involved!

Although both products are now owned and manufactured by Magix they are actually two very different products with completely separate and independent development teams.

Really? That is "interesting". Well there seems to be some conflict in my system between them. They should work together better, in my opinion, though I have reloaded all the plugins they had me delete and they mostly work and Vegas works. It seems the problem I was having came from the Vegas Deep Learning Models as it was the deletion of that which seemed to clear up the Vegas not loading issue.

But as for VPX I seem to have somehow recovered about 90 % of the plugins so at least I am less frustrated.

Thank you all for your assistance. Now I just need to figure out how to make a pulsating orb with this stuff.

@doug_mccarron I have both VPX and Vegas Pro on the same computer and never have had a conflict using plugins that are specific to either one or the other. I am leaning towards your installation of either both VPX or VP.

With VP, you have to install the CORRECT version of the Deep Learning Module, otherwise you will have problems with Vegas. I have plugins that are specific for VPX that do not appear in Vegas and vice versa, yet they do not interfere with functionality of either editor.

Again, which specific plugin are you missing that created it before?

Hi Doug.

I find the same as @Reyfox

Anything that shows up in MMS 2023 / VPX also shows up and works in Vegas Studio or Vegas Pro and often have more controls and uses.

Take NewBlue Stylizers as an instance. In MMS 2023 or VPX 14 I can only apply the effects as a filter to a video clip.

Whereas in any any Vegas editor I can use them as transitions as well.

It would help us greatly if you put your machine specs and operating details into your + SIGNATURE for the purpose it was put there for, rather than a philosophical viewpoint.

I didn't actually install deep learning model. I installed Vegas and the deep learning model was just there. No idea where it came from . NO idea what it is or does, but getting rid of it allowed Vegas to start. How would I get the incorrect version from the download?

The specific plug in from Ignite missing was Light and Flares for Magix. However a couple of them showed up later on after a couple scans as I also have the free Hitfilms, so maybe it found that. But I am missing the official one.

Am I missing anything important not having Deep Learning Module? I am looking at a bunch of tutorials on using Vegas on youtube for version 19 so hopefully that gets me started.

Would be nice if the two design teams worked together more as they are in the same company. But I am just a user.
