1. the level of activity eg posts, comments, etc that you have made - the full indicator suggests you are a regular contributor.
    
2. type of member - the 3 most common types you see in the forum are: green = standard member, green with M = Moderator, a black hexagon with a 3 diagonal bar Magix logo = Magix staff

AFAIK there is no automatic removal of an account after a set period of inactivity, so no you would not be excluded from the forums.

If you upload a song at Magix and receive comments stating it could be improved, you can’t correct or update your song, so you would have to delete your uploaded song losing all of the comments as well and reupload your updated corrected song and start all over again. At Acidplanet you could go to your songs and edit an individual song which would allow you to update and upload over your older song with your new correct updated song without losing all your current comments/feedback.

I would like to see a Magix implement the same idea, for example someone said I would like to hear more elements in your song to give it more energy, so I would basically add more instruments or percussion to my piece and upload it over original piece allowing for an easy update to my song and keeping all of my comments.

@johnebaker is simply another user like you, albeit a Moderator. He, like all Moderators, has no powers to make ANY changes to the way in which the Media area of the forum works!

@PATIENT-X I suggest you use the Support link in the header of every forum page to raise this as a user-requested improvement to the Media area of the forums.

@emmrecs The support page would be in effective as its generally for a product issue, as I use Acid Pro, you can't make changes to this software to allow an individual to amend or adjust a song posted on Magix. Those changes or suggestions has to be adjusted with the Magix website itself. The media area in the forum as you mention is not related to a website update, it's about posting songs or updating said song on your profile page. this is generally a request of the actual overhaul of the Magix website. This topical forum is a platform to communicate said ideas and suggestions in general. If you are suggesting everytime a member has an idea or suggestion which would require community feedback to contact support, then what's the point of having a free to discuss forum.

Looking at this from another perspective, if I upload a song, other members suggest improvements, I make improvements, then upload the song again replacing the original.

Then how can other members who have not heard the original determine what changes have been made which may help them improve their own creations?

IMHO it is better to leave the first upload as is, upload the improvement as a separate post and add a link in the first upload to the new version - other users than have a comparison with which to hear the improvements.

@johnebaker First of all thanks for your suggestion John but I would not expect my friends or members to listen again to a whole track to hear the difference of simply adding a drum section to a particular area of the track and having to comment again. There are many times when I post a song I notice an error and I curse myself. Posting your song again shortly afterwards to receive more comments from the guys who have already left you feedback is too much to ask. Let's just say the site I came from had the facility to allow a user to update their song by posting over the original, in this case its about the artist amending his errors and putting right to said song. On the other site you could contact the member who gave you advice to listen to the new version without them having to leave another comment or review. The onus here is on the artists capability and function to make corrections to their work.

Hier geht es um die Fähigkeit und Funktion der Künstler, Korrekturen an ihrer Arbeit vorzunehmen. 😁👍

Acid Planet was closed down legal reasons due to the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) which came into effect in 2018.

The GDPR regulations require that data processing is based on user consent and that the 'data subject' has the right to revoke it at any time. Implementation of this on a technical level was not feasible, thus AcidPlanet had to be closed.
