Got it, John. I always have audio and video on separate tracks so I hadn't realized that. I also forgot about the M at the beginning of the track. So often it seems to be set itself, that is, I don't recall hitting it. (-:
Magix added Shot Match into MEP2018 Plus/Premium. However, I prefer this in VPX as there are two monitors, so you can see both clips at the same time.
I agree, and VPX has a manual function whereby you can select the same object/colour in both clips using the eyedropper and get a more accurate match than with the Automatic function which I find often gets it wrong.
MEP's procedure instructions are a little clearer to the uninitiated as it came out later, and MEP has the feature to reduce the intensity of change which helps with the overshoots in the Automatic process mentioned. They should add this to VPX.
Note, somewhere in the small print it is mentioned that the mercalli v4 license is valid for two years. When you load a movie (mvd) with the effect applied once the license has expired a logo will be superimposed on the image.

That will only be the case if you open a project. Once the timeline has been exported the stabilisation will have already been applied. If you intend to work on a project in the future after your license has expired, just export those sections out to perhaps mp4, then bring them back into your timeline and resave.

I noted this with an upgrade offer on VPX a few months back and I don't think anyone believed me. It must be because of the new update system that does not define a new program version from a patch, combined with the fact that Magix is only licensing plugins to specific versions. Really confusing I reckon!
