Mercalli Pro V6 Plug-in Offer & Bug

Greeting all,

A query about the latest offer presented when I close Movie Studio 2023.

All the video product upgrades are now offered with Mercalli Pro V6 as a plugin, the cheapest of which is Photostory deluxe 2023. I assume that plugin will work in MS2023; is that correct does anyone know?

I don't have, and never have had, ⁹Photostory on any system but Magix is allowing me to purchase the upgrade saying my application was successful. It's also allowing me to purchase an upgrade for Magix Video Pro X14 with Mercalli Pro V6 at £81.99 (GB) which is very tempting.

If I purchase an upgrade to a program I've never had will it actually work as a first time install?

Mercalli Pro V6, you have v5 and it is patched up to the last version, of 5 that is.

Hi John.

I'm not sure if V6 was ever offered with an upgrade package or not as it is one plugin I've never had use for and I've never had the general problem with the watermark. I do check for updates now and again as they don't tend to give automated notifications.

V6 was originally a stand-alone, the plugin came later, I have never been prompted by a popup to say there is a new version available, I got notification by email.

Interesting! I didn't get an email, despite the fact I have an account with proDAD, and only found out about the update via this thread.

I have to admit I only found out about the update because when using the Mercalli Pro Stabiliser I accidentally clicked "Messages" instead of "Analyse".

ProDAD has done their bit, now just waiting on Magix for their bug fix.

Greetings all,

Immediately on the tail of the MS update ther'a new one from ProDAD for Mercalli V6 to 6.0.672.1.

All effects in V6 now appear to load correctly - no duplicates and each can be used and adjusted independantly. Yipee!!!
