All original. All lyrics and vocals by me. This is another song from my progressive rock album. Here is the track list so far:

1. ?
2. What the Hawk Sees
3. First Intermission
4. ?
5. ?
6. Fictitious Streams
7. Thoughts Amassing

Hopefully the gaps will be filled in soon.  Anyway, I started composing the music for this song a few months ago. After a while, I got the idea for the lyrics. They are inspired by the hawks that can sometimes be seen flying high over the beautiful Arizona deserts. There are less lyrics than "Fictitious Streams" and "Thoughts Amassing", but I hope you enjoy them just as much.

Lyrics:

You spread your wings as the wind sings
Now you take flight, all in your sight
Over the peaks, what do you seek?
Near mountain caves, what do you crave?

See the hawk fly high over the land
So high, where silence rules with a gentle hand
Carelessly you fly so free
What majestic things you surely see

Shadows are cast on places passed
and still ahead more shall be shed
Now right on cue, comes into view
fathomless blue skies just for you

May the wind blow like rivers flow
So well you know deserts below
When you decide higher to glide
above the clouds you shall abide

Thanks for listening! I would love to hear your most honest opinions. By the way, the picture is from google. It is the view from the Superstition Mountains, which are not very far from where I live. There is some kind of mysterious beauty in the desert landscape...

Sandro Glavina is an italian composer, named L'Uomo e L'Ombra. The choice of the name derives from the title of the album "L'uomo e l'ombra" of the band "Abstract Music Nuova Esistenza", an experimental group founded by Sandro Glavina together with his friends in the mid-70s.

In the period 2009-2022, L'Uomo e L'Ombra has done 84 albums. The compositions of Sandro Glavina are partly influenced by progressive rock. Sandro has developed a personal style with many experimentations and actualizations. He offers music beyond borders by intertwining different styles in crossover with each other. Prog, psychedelia, classical, post-rock, jazz, pop are some of the influences that dissolve in ambient atmospheres, citations of contemporary music and minimalist nuances. Sandro Glavina aka L'Uomo e L'Ombra plays the music using VSTI synthesizers, keyboards and adds some loops. Sandro isn't a professional musician, composes and plays music just for fun, but his works reach a good outcome, pleasant to listen. L'UOMO E L'OMBRA

YEAH! YOU GOT SOME SATURATION ON THE DRUM TRACK, I LIKE THAT.

THE HAWKS ARE MAKING A REAL COMEBACK HERE IN INDIANA. JUST THE OTHER DAY I SAW ONE EATING WHAT LOOKED LIKE A RABBIT BESIDE THE HIGHWAY. WE HAVE A BALD EAGLE THAT LIVES AT ONE OF THE LAKES HERE ALSO.

That sounds great - impressive und mighty...

Such a great idea to do this album - and I admire how you continue in your own style...
Here the synths have room, and the beat seems slower to me ...
gives power!

Love it!

LG samp
P.S.: A wonderful place you live in....
