Hey Griff,
It's not making me think of a flea, because those critters are irritating in the extreme.  This is the antithesis of that, invoking pleasure of the highest order.  Your fingers (injured or not) dance across the keys with such assured playfulness, that they encourage the other instruments to join in the fun (all as brilliantly played as the master piano).  This is just soooooo plain right.  An absolute stunner.  The sounds are all thoroughly convincing (top notch vst emulation?), but no less than your virtuosity demands.  It sounds like a studio recording of a live performance.

The constant rhythm works for me because it simply acts as a framework over which you paint your masterly performances, retaining the human touch that ensures you listen and enjoy from the first to the last note.  I love it.  I hope you are pleased with how it has turned out.  You certainly well ought to be.  My mouth is curved in a fixed grin for the rest of the day now - and will be every time I relisten.

OK.  Out of he hundreds of songs I have listened to in the past and will listen to in the future in this community,  this sucker is tops.  It belongs at the apex of the heap of tunes and I seriously doubt it will be surpassed unless it's something even more stunning by you. The complex rhythms you play on the piano are enough to put this song over the top.  I mean WAY over the top!  I listen to a station on Xirius (sp?) radio called Watercolors and this is better than a majority of what I hear on that station (and it;s a great station).  

I'm in awe and my respect for you (which was already sky-high) as a musician has just sky rocketed out into oblivion. And as Brenda said....."my hat's off to you" (if I wore one)

I would say that this is a sign of pure jazz, as always your compositions in this style are beautiful, you can really feel that this music is in your blood.

Now that flea is one that I would let stay on my skin...

What a lovely jazzy piece of music with great instrumentations - love the piano work and the drums in general (whilst they "only" support, they give this flea a great jumping ability).

Another wonderful proof that knowing what you do helps in bringing out the greatest results.

I am lost for words!!! And that doesn't happen much!!!

THE GRIFFSTER brings it home with a dynamite Jazzy tune, modern distinctive Jazz at its most beautiful. So evocative.

How do you all do this, It's just a piano, yet you make it sing, you give it sophistication but most of all, especially in this piece, you give it style.

The brass is so sweet, so well thought out, so well placed within this piece. I love the way it rolls on with the piano.

Those drums, they're in the mix just right. I don't hear it all the time like it's the front instrument (I love the snare/bongo/hi hat work. Good idea and it brings great rhythm), but when you want me listening to em, I am!

The, I think they're called marakas, are very well played. I didn't expect to hear them but there addition added a bit of extra to the track which I most definitely enjoyed.

Your mixing work, EQ work, your everything work.... It's spot on, it's perfect!

The guitar work is limited, but it is so smooth. Smooth yet somehow also boucy with the beat.

I'm still bouncing around here, I am yet to finish my coffee. When I can stop dancing!!!

Wow, nice! This is what I like about instrumental music - there is a great rhythm to it, and I think even if you took out the drums/percussion, that rhythm would still come through strongly. I'm not saying you should take them out, just that you don't rely on them as someone with less skill might. Anyway, this is outstanding! The main theme is about as good as it gets. 

One of the movies I would always watch growing up was 101 Dalmations, and for some reason this reminded me of a more upbeat version of the piano playing in that. It doesn't necessarily sound very similar, but just has such a cool style and character to it.

One more jazzy tune, perfectly played and mixed professionally. "The Grandeur" sounds beautiful because you´re playing it.

I´ve enjoyed this piece soooo much!
