Hello music friends,

Here is the third rock tune with strings, using MMM 2014.    Instruments used are bass, drums and strings.  There are also some other loops by way of pads, beatbox, synthe and percussion.  This will be the last release of "Strings of Rock", for at least  awhile.  This one has it's usual vibrancy with some steady drum beats and interesting bass rifts.

Hope you like it..........although I don't think it is as good as the previous two.  See what you think.

Enjoy!!

Regards,

Gryami.

This is not really ONE track. These are puzzle pieces in a row.

hallo,

Gruss Freddy

Hi Graham

The percussion and bass are amazing in my opinion.  I do, however have to agree with some of the other comments as far as the "common thread".  It mostly sounds like an accompaniment track that needs something else added like maybe a melody in the strings.  The strings play a lot of sequences that are built on different chords but it never seems to take the shape of a "song".  I'm not expressing myself very well.  I know what I'm trying to say but just cannot adequately put it into words.  Sorry.  That is no help at all.

Hi Graham,

Trish is/was right.

I can´t tell you "how to make a good song".

The only thing I know is:

99% of the people from this community don`t have the capabilities

to make a good song in one day.

In this case:

To take some drums/strings/bass-samples in various styles/chords together,

make some strange breaks, fade a synthi in and out..... No, thats not enough, sorry.

Ps.: But you are right: Life goes on:-)

Sandro Glavina is an italian composer, named L'Uomo e L'Ombra. The choice of the name derives from the title of the album "L'uomo e l'ombra" of the band "Abstract Music Nuova Esistenza", an experimental group founded by Sandro Glavina together with his friends in the mid-70s.

In the period 2009-2022, L'Uomo e L'Ombra has done 84 albums. The compositions of Sandro Glavina are partly influenced by progressive rock. Sandro has developed a personal style with many experimentations and actualizations. He offers music beyond borders by intertwining different styles in crossover with each other. Prog, psychedelia, classical, post-rock, jazz, pop are some of the influences that dissolve in ambient atmospheres, citations of contemporary music and minimalist nuances. Sandro Glavina aka L'Uomo e L'Ombra plays the music using VSTI synthesizers, keyboards and adds some loops. Sandro isn't a professional musician, composes and plays music just for fun, but his works reach a good outcome, pleasant to listen. L'UOMO E L'OMBRA
