Hello Fellow Musicians & Music Lovers:

I want to take this time to thank those who have expressed their concern and well-wishes. I truly appreciate your generous and heartfelt words.

As most of you know, I was involved in an automobile accident about a month or so ago. Since that time, I have been resting and recuperating from some fairly nasty injuries.

The good news, however, is that I am healing at a faster rate than my doctors (or anyone else for that matter) anticipated.

This song is a cover of one of my favorite Smooth Jazz/Jazz groups, Spyro Gyra. The song, "Morning Dance", was released in 1979, and was a Top 40 hit in the United States for eight weeks. To this day, this song remains one of my all-time favorites.

I assembled a bunch of VSTs to render this track: Embertone Chapman Trumpet, Addictive Drums 2, True Piano x64, SI Strings (Cakewalk), Trilian Bass, Ample Guitar L.

Acually, I basically completed this tune almost a year ago, but simply put it in a folder and forgot about it.

So folks, here is my tribute and rendition of, "Morning Dance". Hope you enjoy...

Hi Griff,

Glad to hear that you are recovering faster than anticipated - can't keep a good man down!

Loved the energy in this version, it grabs you from the frist bar and doesn't let go! The way you dance over the melody is music to my ears.

Can't wait to hear what else your "spring cleaning" will dig up.

Ich bin zwar nicht ganz so der Fan, was diese Musikrichtung angeht, aber es hat mir gefallen!!!

Die Arbeit hat sich voll gelohnt und ich es freut mich, dass es Dir wieder besser geht!!!

I'm glad that you're back again! Hope, you'll feel fine (...or much better than a month ago ).

I know this song and it's a fine cover made by you. But - maybe - I hear a lil'bit distortion / clipping..? Mhmh, I'm not sure.

Whatever - as Mathias wrote - you are the Godfather (Grandfather?) of Jazz in this tiny community - not more not less

As always a great tune and a marvellous interpretation.

This is defenetelly a wonderfull tribute to Spyro Gyra, and an amazing come back to this comunitty... you and your qualitty have been missed in here.
