Hello, Bonjour, Hallå, Ciao, Hallo, Olá,

I have done something a bit different with this song.  Almost all instruments are ones from a "vintage" (old) Alesis QS8 keyboard, which still remains my favorite keyboard that I have.  I used the Magix World Percussion for the tamborine.

This will be my last song for awhile because I am having surgery on my hand in a few days and do not know how long it will be before I can play my keyboards again.  Hopefully all will go well and I will be able to play in a month or two but it is supposed to be a long recovery period.  Aaarrgghhh!

Trish

PS I have no idea what category to put this in!

Hi Trish:

First and foremost, allow me to express my sincere desire that you have a highly successful medical procedure on your invaluable hand, and that your recovery is as brief as possible.  Oftentimes, things that happen in our lives are necessary and unavoidable.  That being said, you will be sorely missed.

Now, on to this song.  Isn't it refreshing to create a song without the use of VSTs or other such artifices?  The sound from that old Alesis, has its own unique character.  Perfect for the title and the mood of the song.  The "Tango" has often been referred to as music and (especially dance) for the "working class" .  That's why your choice of the vintage Alesis is so apropos.

Alright, enough of this.  Just get the damn operation over with! <lol>  Heal.  And then, hurry back with all deliberate haste!

Schöner Track, gefällt mir!!

stuallan wrote on 3/26/2015, 11:24 AM

Hi Trish,

Wishing you a speedy recovery, you definitley will be missed!

Tango happens to be one of my favourite Latin dances so I am efinitely biased towards this song.

To expand on Griff's comment below, Tango is also known as the dance of seduction. Your interpretation in the classic style is just perfect to dance to, I know, I tried it.

Great job!

Regards,

Stu

PS That keyboard sounds great. Vintage equipment has a soul of it's own, very similar to vinyl recordings vs digital.

Hello Trish,
first of all I wish you a very ready healing, all of us will miss you, but you have to come back soon.
The song is ingenious, really brilliant idea, interpreted as always so magnificent.
We feel with email.
A big hello.

Oooh Trish.  Your hand.  Having trouble concentrating on the lovely music because of what you've told us here.  Hope it's not injured because of too much piano playing?  These medicos are brilliant these days - borderline 'Six Millian Dollar Woman' level results around with all the advances.  Maybe you'll come back able to play at speeds beyond human hearing?  OK that would be a bit pointless, unless we go to the same clinic to get our ears done. . . .

Anyhooooo - please have a successful procedure with minumum pain, and smooth, doctor suprising recovery speed.

Oh yes - the tune. I love how even though you could staunchly stick to your beloved paino, and that would be wonderful enough with your gift, you are looking to press forward in a quest to embrace more and more to add to your increasing arsenal of interpretive music skills.  Great sounds and great performance - of course.  It's you for goodness sake.

Be well, then be weller quickly.
Nick

IL TANGO è UNA MUSICA PASSIONALE , MA ANCHE UN PO TRISTE. FORSE HAI VOLUTO ESPRIMERE QUELLO CHE STAI PROVANDO IN QUESTO MOMENTO DI ATTESA PER L'INTERVENTO CHIRURGICO. MA ENTRAMBI SAPPIAMO CHE TUTTO ANDRA' BENE, PERCHE' TU SEI SUPER!!!!!

I like this Trish. It nice to do "something a bit different with a song".  Get well soon, but take your time using your hand.  You will be miss here with all of your friends.

Hi Trish,

You are going to be missed, so get well ASAP.  I hope this operation does  not effect all aspects of your music.

This track I find interesting inasmuch it is a little different from your usual arrangements.  Just goes to show that being a musician one needs to be versatile.  A nice arrangement, a good dance piece, and a pleasure to listen to.

Kind regards,

Graham.

Hi Trish,

I really like this.  You did a tremendous job with all the different sounds.  I love that you are able to go "Pianoless" in a piece and show how incredible you are at orchestration and composition.  You are amazing Trish.  Can't wait to hear more from you.

It is my prayer that everything goes smoothly with the surgery and that the recovery will be expedited.  Hopefully it's not carpal tunnel...those things take awhile.  But, nevertheless, you will bounce back and the piano can serve as therapy!

Take care my friend and keep me informed on your progress!

Forse cercavi: non è la musica che io preferisco, ma da quello che posso capire mi sembra che come sempre la qualità del brano, la sua esecuzione e tutto l'insieme strumentale sia altamente professionale
not the music I prefrerisco, but from what I can understand it seems that as always the quality of the song, its execution and the whole instrument is highly professional

Here to listen be inspired and improve own skill in music making and mastering etc.

Mostly make music with a movie ongoing so much of the tracks will be more soundtrack'ish than actual club/dance orientated. Sadly Iam yet to un-skilled in the process of making the actual moving pictures/movies.

I really appreciate the nice feedback. Makes a happy Happy.

Must admit that my deutsc/german is stinking and cant translate comments in that launguage very good.

Please keep comments in english, unless its very very bad critism, then please use Deutsc ;P

My movie projects are located on youtube as I cant get to upload here.

Please veiw and comment.
