As a collaboration with Heuno, "Islands" is a special song that was conceived by Heuno. He was inspired to write it while sitting by the ocean that was sprinked with small islands surrounded by the seemingly endless sea.
A feeling of serenity and peacefulness is often an emotion that one feels when gazing out over the the sea. There may also be a feeling of just how small we are in relation to the infinite vastness ot the sea but as individuals, we are part of it. Heuno composed a song conveying this emotion and asked that I listen to it and add my thoughts and emotions to his song base. I am honored to be a part of Heuno's song and understand the feelings behind his music.
