This is a short homage to the giants of the Funk Universe: George Clinton, William Earl "Bootsy" Collins, James Brown,  Eddie Hazel, Fred Wesley, Maceo Parker, among many others, too numerous to name.  Back in the day, the funk music was the "thang".  This tune is short in duration, but (I think) basically captures the tone and rythmic drive and syncopation.  Hope it does justice to those aforementioned pioneers.

And Hola to you, Alemany!   Thank folks for listening and voting.

Yes, VisionART, the tune IS short, but I just wanted to give you a taste of the sound.  Back in Funk's glory days, there were ample doses of electric basses (with the ever-present wah-wah effect), electric guitars, Hammond B-3 organ, synthesizers and an assortment of horns.  Basically, when you construct a Funk song, just make sure you include a sizeable assortment of those instruments.  So there you have it VisionART.  I eagerly await your next Funk composition!

You make it sound so simple nycgriff, but you knowledge and talent shine through.  Great to understand that this sort of expert arrangement is possible with loops and samples through.  Another one for my favourites folder.

Musikalische Dynamik Pur ! Starker Funk-Rhythmus der durch die Kraft von Drum, Bass & Gitarre richtig Druck nach vorne macht ! Die Basslinie sticht für mich besonders hervor......................eine wirklich starke Hörprobe !!

Gruss Freddy
