A little on the schmaltzy side but sometimes a little schmaltz is good for the soul as well as the heart. The melody came to me at about 4am this morning so, of course, I had to get up and see what notes were playing in my head at such an hour!  One thing led to another and by 7am , I had a song.

Thanks for listening

Hi Trish:

You can play for me any day of the year my friend...  This is an absolutely wonderful song; obviously played with tenderness and great care.  Whatever notes were prancing through your head at 4 AM, wore soft and gentle ballet slippers.

I also love (what is that, an oboe)?  Does not matter; it embraces and caresses the melody like a long-time lover.

You are certainly in rare form with this one.

Brava!

Griff

Hello Trish!

This is GREAT!! I hear it and fall in thought! My thinks are, I lie on a large meadow and I see the clouds in the sky! My girlfriend is near by my side and I take her hand and we feel happy! Thank you again Trish, for a wonderful and very tenderness experience! Love and music are the greatest things in that world! I believe that and your music helps me to believe that! Again, very good playing and the Oboe is great! Good idea to take this! Thank you!! I love the schmaltz! :-)) 5*****++

best wishes ever

regards Bernd

Hi Trish,

Loved it. Amazing that you pulled this off in 3 hours!

Soft and tender feeling throughout. Makes think of times when I was walking hand in hand with nothing on my mind other than feeling a soft hand in mind and enjoying the moment. Thanks for that.

Cheers,

Stuart

I enjoyed this very much.  Thank you.

Most often, I wake up with a tune playing in my head.  Unfortunately, it's always someone elses tune.

cita: " A CHI CON IMPEGNO E PROFESSIONALITA???HA RAGGIUNTO AMBITI RISULTATI, PORTANDO OLTRE I CONFINI DELLA CALABRIA, IL MESSAGGIO E LA CULTURA DELLA NOSTRA TERRA ???.
Come autore Pino continua a scrivere canzoni incontrando nuovi personaggi in particolare: uno a livello internazionale, Carlo Alberto Rossi,
E....la musica va..................grazie a tutti Pino

Hi Trish:

You said it in your statement above: "a little schmaltz is good for the soul, as well as the heart".  Well...?  This song apparently has captivated all those who have had the good fortune to lend their ears to it.  Not only is it an emotionally inspirational song, it is also well-played and well-arranged.

In a world fraught with all sorts of negativity and raucousness, this little moment of melodic serenity allows many of us just a few minutes of time for much-needed reflection, and perhaps, just a little soul-searching in the wee hours of our lives.

Just a few more thoughts...

Griff
