OK, this is probably a weird one, and this has been posted cause I am curios if someone here from the Magix community can help to finish this new collaboration.

Brenda has just passed onto me an absolutely stunning and magnificent Jazzy hip hop collaboration tune.

I met this lady here on Magix (Anne2) who has a wonderful voice, and who I am helping to get her mic set up properly as well as getting it to pick up her beautiful voice.

It is going to take a lot longer than first anticipated to get her mic working right then the time I have allotted to finish this track.

So, I ask you (all you killer Magix singers here!!!) for your help in finishing this track!!! I have, very poorly sang the girls part in here so the singer knows where her vocals are going to be.

I honestly don't know what will happen after posting here, but I truly hope someone can help to finish this track - It really is a nice instrumental that most definitely needs a singer.

Lady Vocals;

First chorus;
I will stand right by the side of you,
I promise I'll give myself to you.

Second chorus;
I will stand right by the side of you,
I promise I'll give myself to you,
Even if the sky crashed down on me,
I won't let the walls cave in on me.

Third chorus;
I will stand right by the side of you,
I promise I'll give myself to you,
Even if the sky crashed down on me,
I won't let the walls cave in on me,
No these walls they won't cave in on,
And I won't let these walls cave in on me.

Final verse;
Hey D,
Not much just some buzz creeping from the licks you spat out,
For real,
For sure,
Oh Duco.

Fade out Ad-Libs;
Whooooo,
Yeeeeaaaaaahhhhh.

Hey Martin,

This sounds like it's going to be absolutley great.  What am I saying - it sounds great already, but I know you'd rather replace your chorus contributions with those of a higher register.

Brenda's wonderful music, your insightful rapping and a female vocalist set up - or nearly set up - is always destined to be a star quality recipe.  Sorry I can't offer any advice on the mic set up, being a technical void myself, but how about aproaching Griff?  If he has time, I bet he has the knowledge.  He's been around physical studio set ups, is a computer whizz and music genius.  Or if you really want to talk about getting crisp vocals - exogenis.official?  (might be a hyphen in between the words rather than a full stop??)  His vocals are always pin sharp and beautifully balanced in their great offerings.  You could try dropping either or both of those a message.  They can always politely feuse if they don't have time.

Can't wait to hear the final mix.
Best,
Nick

I'm sorry, I can't even sing.
However your rap is quite outstanding and the jazzy background from Brenda is definitely great.

Perhaps you ask 'Mondschwester' ... she has a splendid voice and maybe she'll sing the chorus for you!

And I'll give stars then to the finished version.

I think this song has promise. The vocals need to be better mixed into the music cause at the moment the music is very much in the background and it doesnt sound like a whole that is married together.  Also there are a couple rap bits where the syllables don't fit the timing of the tune.

But I like the honesty and purity of the rap poetry. At its heart this will be a good soulful song.
