Hi Folks:

I had to pull the original "A Little Night Music" because of a variety of reasons.  In any event, here is "A Little Night Music Part II".

This time around, the melodic sounds of the trumpet leads the way, and it is heard from start to finish.  Also, there are the usual piano, Rhodes, bass, drums, percussion instruments, and interspersed with a few vocal FX's.  Even though the song has strong Jazz overtones, if one listens carefully, you can also hear Latin flavors to spice up the piece.

The arrangement is primarily in the keys of D Major and B Minor at 100 BPM (for those interested).

Hopefully, you'll have fun while you're listening.

Thanks for your time.

Griff

What a cool jazz piece, Griff!

A really professional work and I don't love it only for the night, I love listening in the early morning, too.

Bravo!

Hello Mr.

I remember the first version
I listened to your little night music at night before. Afterwards I couldn't find it anymore to write some words.

Here in this, the trumpet tells a nice story and all other around fits also well ... specially I like this latin touch.

Music has always been part of my life. I started making music as a hobby for a couple of years ago. I work in an aluminum production plant, hard work but I'm not complaining.

Cheers Music friends :-)

Hoi Griff

Yes....you are my master of jazz.

You know your in this genre, and it shows.
Wonderful jazz chords and smooth trumpet solo.

Very nice, how do you get the variety with the Bkgrnd. The trumpet fits exactly into the Bkgrnd. Wonderfully!
Like very well.

En liebe gruess vom

Hi Mr G.

I am listening at this very moment to your Night Music, altho' it is after 1am, so technically it is morning but time is all relative, n'est pas?  I also like the infusion of the Latin "flavor"  which is subtle in this composition but it's still there in the congas and shakers and probably a few others that my tired ears are neglecting to pick up.

You are just a very fine jazz musician is all I can say.

Good night to you and yours

Trish

Hi Griff,

sorry I'm late but with curios ears  Your song sounds a 'bit like Herb Alpert - or like Griff  A great work but for me it's too jazzy. I'm a simple Bluesman, you know...

You play at a very high level my friend - so you understand my comment. Sometimes I love your songs, sometimes I like.

Conclusion: Music and composition - 5 Stars. My flavor - (sorry) 3 Stars

Hold on my friend and all the best - "Sir" VOX

Hi Griff:

I think is already a cliché saying that your compositions are great ...  This one is no different, the work is excelent, the bass line is great and have a powerfull sound... the rhodes sound give the song an old style sound very peculiar but that fits perfectely in here... the Drums and  percussion and even some piano chords gives some latin flavour, very interesting.

It's interesting to see how you can construct a song over a fusion of styles, and make it sound perfectely...it's a delight to my hears!!!

As usual this is a great work...

All the best to you

Emanuel
