Please let me know if my steps and conclusions are correct:
1. Add a video to Track 1 (no related audio).
2. Add a second video and its corresponding audio to Tracks 3 and 4.
3. Add a third video and audio to Tracks 5 and 6
4. Designate Tracks 3 and 5 to be Multicam Source Video by rt-clicking on Track headers
5. Designate Track 4 to be Multicam Master Audio by same action as #4
6. Click the Multicam icon to launch the program
At this point, a warning popup indicates that Tracks 1 and 2 are for Multicam, and that unless you move content, it will be erased. I did not move video one and it was not erased. I believe that this erasure is referring to any video content directly above videos two and three. True?
7. Click T to add a title for video one.
The title is added to Track three. I think this is default for titles. True?
However, the title text is not visible. And I think I have figured out why. Because Track 3 is designated as Source video for the Multicam! True?
Conclusions? I think it is better to edit in Tracks 7 and above for non-Multicam video; however, apparently I still have to move all created Titles manually from Track 3. True?
Thanks!
