I upgrade to the latest Realtek driver and still Sound Forge wont record, check everything and looks ok, but still not recording. I installed SoundTap audio recorder and work o.k. and this is a $20 apps, I am getting tired of Sound Forge is able to recognize my audio card but can not listen to it. Please help.

I had a Win 10 update change the OS privacy settings for the PC's mic. Confirm the mic is allowed for Sound Forge.

Then in Sound Forge, check the 'Audio Device Type' settings and 'Routing'. The Classic Wave Driver or the MS Sound Mapper devices are usually trouble free. These settings would be in the "Options> Preferences> Audio" menu. I am not familiar with AS (Audio Studio), but suspect it would be similar menu settings.

Yes to all, still do not help. Now if I check Record Output, will record but to fast, I don't know how to slow the recording speed.

What do mean by "too fast"? Duration (recording stops), or playback speed/pitch after recording the sound.

Playback speed/pitch abnormalities are usually a sample rate issue with the soundcard, Sound Forge chooses the sample rate automatically based on file's metadata. Variations occur when the soundcard is 'locked' to something other than what the file's sample rate is. For instance, a file recorded at 44.1kHz file will playback faster (and pitched up) if the soundcard output is locked at 48kHz.

I think I sorted this out. What I'm speculating is the issue is that the Stereo Mix utilizes Realtek drivers while I associated my HDMI with my NVIDIA Graphics card. I played around a piece and reached the accompanying resolution:

I expected to get the "speakers" playback gadget empowered so I put in a 3.5 mm electrical line (male to male) into the green 3.5mm jack in the rear of my framework. I designed it to go about as a Headphone in the Realtek Audio Manager and afterward went to the gadgets and set the "Speakers" as default. In the chronicle tab, I set sound system blend to "tune in to this gadget" and "playback" my HDMI associated screen for sound (so my sound works). At that point, it works appropriately and I can record my framework sound. One thing I saw was that my screen sound sounded lower when the playback gadget was set to "Speakers" than the genuine screen so I chose to endeavor to arrange the front sound ports and check whether I would get an equivalent response.

Main concern - I had the option to design the front sound port to act as a speaker when a 3.5mm link was connected and Stereo Mix works brilliantly. The proviso is I need to associate the link to the port prior to recording and changing the default gadget, yet the substitute is run a 3.5 mm line from the PC to the screen. This could tackle your concern, much appreciated!
