Won't load a new project.

I have just installed and activated Movie Edit Pro 2016. When I start the program I get the normal

background along with a dialog box that is blank.

Have you restarted the computer since installing?

If not try this first.

If this fails, with MEP closed, use Windows Explorer to search for videodeluxe.ini, you will need to set search to include hidden folders, The search should find several versions of this file - the one you want will be the biggest in size - delete it - then start MEP again.

If this does not work run the installer again selecting the Repair option.
