why won't text save in magix movie edit pro 11?

I want to put in text in my movie via text editor....before I would write it in and click ok and the text would show up. Now I write it in and the text I wrote isn't there...just the word 'title' that was orginally in there. What am I doing wrong.

Not much detail there! But I'm guessing that it's been a while since you last used the program and you've got one of the basic steps wrong. I've dusted off this 5 year old version and reminded myself how to use it. If you follow the steps below it should work OK. My bet is that you forgot the double click and therefore didn't get the default text selected first.
