Why won't Movie Edit Pro 16 recognize LG Portable DVD Writer on a windows 10 device

After installing Movie Edit Pro 16 on my new Windows 10 Toshiba Radius, I could not get it to recognize the LG Portable DVD writer so I can burn a DVD with a movie I made.

Your software is much too old for Windows 10, it's as simple as that...
