More information is needed particularly the settings you are using to capture the video, which capture device you are using and the final resolution of the video you are trying to produce.

If you are trying to capture particularly for High Definition  (= Muito Alta ?) then certainly as far as the video is concerned you will be disappointed in the quality - this is not a fault of the software or the capture device.

VHS video is relatively low resolution -  NTSC VHS is approximately equivalent to 333x480 pixels and PAL VHS is approximately 335x576, for 2 head video recorder, and approx 600x480 or 600x576 for a 4 head recorder.

Sound quality should be reasonable - unless you are recording the audio at too high a volume then you will get distortion or recording at too low a volume then you will get a lot of tape hiss and possibly other electrical noise appearing.

Also the quality depends on the tape medium and how other issues such as print through and how the tape has been stored affect the recording
