Why is there no sound?

The Problem is that there is no sound with the video clips. Not even a sound track when editing, only video.

I have the Magix Movie Edit Pro 11 and installed it on a windows 8 computer.

I have re-installed the program, I have tried registering online but the program still says I am not registered. I have tried downloading an update but i just get a box that says "please wait" with nothing happening.

Please help!!

Hi

Movie Edit Pro 11 is not compatable with Windows 8 - you lose some of the functionality as you have observed.

Even if you run MEP11 in a compatability mode it is very likely you will not overcome the audio problem - modern audio cards are very different from those available when the software was first released.

As far as I know there are no updates available for version 11 - the software is too old and no longer supported.

The only option is to upgrade to Move Edit Pro 2013 which is compatable with Windows 8
