I just updated from MMM 2013 to MMM 2014, and everything has been working fine except for the play button. It takes me pressing the button multiple times for it to play the song. Also, when I try to play one of the sample soundpools I run across the same problem - I have to click on it several times before it plays. How do I fix this?
I am running on the Windows 8 operating system.
Dono I have alot of problems With Windows and and magix program Does your keyboard work right in program ? Can you change the octive on the on screen keyboard by using page up on down key ?
And or do you have a midi keyboard and does it work with windowes 8 and Magixs program?
+ there was a update to day for MM version 1.7

Try running the program installer again and select the Repair option to see if this fixes the problem.
If this does not work then -
Try resetting the program to its defaults - should be under File, Settings
if this fails then close Music Maker and use Windows Explorer and search for musicmaker.ini - you will need to search hidden files and folders - you may find several files in different places - the one you want will be the largest in file size - then rename it. The file will be recreated when you start MMM.
