Why can't I select a project path?

Just getting started with the latest version - When the program first loads I get "Create Project" as shown below. But the Project Folder path is disabled. What if I want a different path?

In the older version 14 I'm uploading dozens of text to speech audio files off the internet to my PC's Downloads folder for one project and I rename them then move them to another specific project folder. I'll add the files to the project later on.

I started a 'test' project with the new version and I can see test.MVP and its backup files and the 'Demo' projects but I cannot find the 'test' folder to add files manually.

I see in My Media under Projects the test.mvp. But where is the 'test' folder?

Thanks

Hi Dennis,

This was the subject of a discussion not long ago.

The folder selection is only for the option of putting/copying all media to a new folder. It creates the folder.

Otherwise you simply put in a file name and upon first save you will be asked if you want to keep or change the name and it should propose the default folder that is in the program settings under Folders, or, like me, you can select an existing folder or create a new one.
