Why can't I reverse audio? [Has to do with update]

Magix Music Maker 2016 Premium, it was updated about a month ago.

Ever since the latest "major update" to MAGIX Music Maker, when I try to reverse audio, instead of reversing it MAGIX creates some weird choppy glitchy-sounding thing that's nothing like the original clip.

How can I fix this, or, if necessary, uninstall the update?

Hi

Looks like it is a bug - previous versions of MMM work fine - please email a bug report to Magix

to  support at magix.com - replace at with @ .

AFAIK it is not possible to reverse the update, other then a complete re-install of the program and update to the previous version.
