Why can I NOT use this REGISTERED Program?

I dug out my Audio & Music Lab 2016, dusted it off and reinstalled it on my new computer. I launch the program, and obediently enter my 30 digit P3 number. And my email address. All I get is a very rude box explaining that this program is already registered.

It is NOT in my list of registered programs here on the Magix account- although I'm sure I registered it, because how else could I have used it? This is all very frustrating. This is the SECOND rather expensive program I've bought from Magix that I Can NOT use anymore. (even though I was promised "free updates for life" when I bought Music Maker, I was later told that I was basically out of luck when Windows 10 came along) So, yeah, twice bitten here and very frustrated. I paid god money to you folks for Thease ProgramS, and would like to be able to use at least one of them, please?

@Jimmy-C You used probably a different e-mail address back in the day. You must use the same e-mail for reactivation or it will not work. If you don't remember your address the only chance you have is to contact infoservice@magix.net They can transfer the license to your current costumer account.

"free updates for life"

Yeah, in business speak this means free updates for the life of the product.

By here, do you mean this forum? You have to log into your account at Magix.com.

As @SP. indicated, if you used a different email address, then you have to use that one to log into your account. For ACL, you should be able to deactivate any existing devices and then activate your latest installation from within the program.

Music Maker is free. You can activate previous version and download and install everything that would likely work.

However, Plus and Premium Editions, like 2021, have to be purchased and activated in the free version of MMM.
