This is just an idea, but something may have updated (Windows Automatic Updates, Driver Updates, etc) in Windows that somehow interferes with how that menu is being displayed (the update may have changed Libraries or System Files that Windows uses, or files that were utilized by MAGIX software).
One way to correct possible interferences from changes in system files like this, is to re-install the program that is having issues.
You could start by trying to run the MAGIX Installer again, choosing Repair, or Remove the program and then Install Music Maker again. This would reinstall any missing files that Music Maker needs, which may help.  

This is just an idea/suggestion, of course. Hopefully it will work for you, though!
