Victor, there is a known issue with latest Acid update. Many out there are having these issues. Are you getting any error messages before it shuts down? If so, can you capture and post it here?
Victor, Open acid, without playing any sound, go to Preferences, click on Audio Interface/device tab and change the audio interface to your audio card (hoping that you have an external Audio interface for music prouduction). i think it is on "Windows Media Mapper" or something along that. It has something to do with the sound card Acid is trying to use and it is failing.
Victor, sorry that didn't help. Do you have another DAW in your PC? So you can see if this beeping comes from that, too? If not, download Audacity and use Focusrite on it and see if the beeping is coming from that, too. If none of this helps, I will see if I can post an older version of Acid pro application file. Magix had sent it to me, I have to look for it in my emails.
I found the previous Acid Pro version which Magix had sent me. Uninstall everything from Magix completely and re-install with this file.
I am not sure if I am allowed to post download links here even if they are from Magix, but if I am not, it will be removed:
Thank you so much! Yeah I just adopted cake walk and that works. Thank you for sharing this link. I really appreciate your efforts to assist me. About to get up and try this link.
. . . . I am not sure if I am allowed to post download links here even if they are from Magix, but if I am not, it will be removed . . . .
While your intent is honourable, it is unfortunately not allowed, and the link has been removed.
Providing a download link from other than the official Magix site or dealer is against the general licensing condition (EULA).

Understood, johnbaker.
The link was indeed from Magix and copied/pasted directly from their email however, I didn't think it will stay. Lets all hope a new update is on it's way so some of these issues can be resolved.
. . . . John Baker, can you explain why Magix is not servicing Acid 10? . . . .
Patches will appear as and when they are completed and tested, there is no regular schedule as, for example, Windows updates which are biannual.
Magix are working on fixes to bugs in Acid and other programs, however, like many other companies around the world, lockdowns are affecting the timing of releases.
which Focusrite Interface do you have? Have you installed the latest drivers? I had also problems with an older Focusrite ASIO Driver. After an driver update everything worked well.
