Hi!
I'm a computer engineer and i made a little game for fun in my free time. I'll add this game to my portfolio of personal projects. This game will never be sold or publicly published online (don't want to make a fool of myself ).
I would like to add some music to this game. Nothing too fancy just some old 8bits/16bits style beats using a software synth, beatbox, ... I'm not gonna use any pre-made loop and such.
I'm a total n00b and my budget is around 50$. I don't plan to become anything greater than a total n00b who made some very bad beats for a personal project. Beats that are so bad they are almost good .
Which version of Music Maker would be the best for me. The premium version is out of my budget. Should i buy the normal version of Music Maker or one of the less expensive special editions. Some are coming with Urban Drums and others with BeatBox 2 and/or Robota. Don't know what is the best between all those virtual instruments. I don't really care about real life virtual instruments like guitar and such i just want to make electronic beats without using any hardware other than my computer.
