I have many thousands of possibly sellable photos and wish to create a website in order to do so, what would be the most suitable package to do this, and at what likely cost?

I am also interested in selling some stock photos and stock video on the web but I do not want to be hassled with keeping up a website, etc. There is a site called Pond5 that will allow you to upload and sell your photos/videos/music/sound effects with no strings attached. There is a 50% commission but that is the only catch. You get paid monthly and here is the URL for you to look at the information.

If you are still wanting to upload to your own website then you will need to find software that will protect your image from being downloaded unless it is paid for, etc. Search the web for the best way to protect your image.
However, if you just want to sell your photos, then use Pond5 and let them do all the work.
