Where to find or load VST plugins for "Instruments" (eg Loom, Iris 2)

Just purchased Samplitude Music Studio (2017) and most of my third-party VST plugins seemed to load with the exception of "Instruments: like Air Music Tech's LOOM II synth and Izotope's IRIS 2. I'm surprised that SMS2017 only provides for one plugin path option in the preferences, but I don't think that's the main issue. Does anyone have any suggestions on loading these third party 'instrument' plugings? Thanks Bart

Hi Bart,

There are actually multiple paths kept by the ini file, so simply click on the VST search button, navigate to the location that you want, and click ok. The previous one will still work. Try out the instrument to see if it is there. Then go and do another one. Like I said, each path is registered in an ini file. If you click on reset, then all of the paths disappear from the ini file.
