Hi

This is a user to user forum not Magix support.

. . . . i have magix music maker premium and if theres no solution i would like a refund because i paid a lot of money for it to stop working after 2 years. . . . .

Money back guarantees are usually limited to 30 days or 60 days, depending on your local retail laws/regulations, from date of purchase - it is unlikely that you will receive a refund after having the program working successfully for 2 years.

We need more information:

  1. Computer specification - processor make/model, graphics card or chipset, RAM,  hard drive configuration, sizes and free space?

  2. Windows version and is it up to date?  Press and hold down the Windows key and the R key - in the dialog that opens type in winver and press enter.

  3. Software full name and version number - as found under Help, About . . .
  4. A screen shot of the timeline may help.

Also please read this post before replying and add any other information you think may be relevant.

Eg: what has change on the computer to stop the program working

Hi,

What format are you exporting to? If mp3, make sure that "Normalize'" is not checked on the export screen. There have been problems with this recently.

Hi

. . . . ive tried reinstalling about 7 times . . . .

Did you clean out all the files left behind by the un-installer? If not then trying to re-install does not always fix problems.

To re-install follow this procedure.

We are still waiting for more information from item1, which you have not supplied, and items 3 and 4 of the information I requested.

I have removed the image you posted - it is showing your product key and is not the window I suggested to use

Hi

. . . . how do i completely remove the software but keep the mmm. files? . . . .

Assuming you did not change the location where the software stores the project files - see the programs settings, Folders tab - they should be within your Documents folder in a Magix folder, eg something like

C:\Users\Your username\Documents\MAGIX\Music_Maker_version

OR

C:\Users\Your username\Documents\MAGIX Projects\Music_Maker_version

uninstalling will not remove them.
