If I understand you correctly.....are you trying to register MM2014 ? There is no Magix 14. There should be a label on athe box, or the envelope. or even the CD/DVD....it will say P2-XXXX-XXXXX and so on, this is the register number you need and you need to enter it at the right time. If you are doing all these things correcttly, where did you purachse this program ? Don't get discouraged...gibe us a litle more information

There are many versions of Music Maker and some users abbreviate Music Maker 2014 to Music Maker 14.
This is not helpful because there was a version Music Maker 14.
If you are trying to register Music Maker 14 then you have a very old version of the software - released in 2007 - and if your computer is running Windows 8 then you will have compatability issues, with WIndows 7 you may have issues.
If you are trying to register Music Maker 2014 then you need a good Internet connection and check your Firewall/Antivirus Suite is allowing Music Maker to connect to the Internet.
I Just bought this piece of garbage music maker 2014 from best buy and it keeps giving me the error code -1 everytime i attempt to activate it, the costumer support sucks with these ppl, and they want you to purchace a card to talk to technical support. worst experience I've ever had, about to bash this garbage all over the web anf snap this --------disk in a million -------- pieces and mail it to these ----------! I Want My Money back!

The only advice I can give you if you want your money back is to take the product back to Best Buy and see what they say.

Wait a minute.....this BestBuy problem has been asked a half a dozen times. I know because I have provided that many answers....so here we go again....follow along.....this BestBuy package just doesn't work....why ?... I don't know, but I do know its been an issue for at least 3-4 months. You need to take the program back and get a refund from BestBuy. I would think that Magix knows about this isssue and why they haven't addressed it, I don't know that either. Therre is a way to find tahe common threrad "BestBuy program doesn't work" to show that this is ongoing and actually should be stopped. Had i kknown this would be on-going, I wowuold havae kept better track of the issue, but it seems to refuse to die and go away. Give Magix a chance. Sometimes tahe "killer" deals are just that......you end up wantiing to kill someone.
