what is the setting that allows you to hear the audio when scrub along the timeline

When scrub on the timeline I would like to hear the audio, as well the video and graphics. When I hit the space bar is when I can hear the audio, is there a setting that will allow me to do this?

I don't think it's possible. Our eyes can interpret a series of images flashing past at much accelerated rates, but what would you hear if you were playing audio at say 10X or more normal speed? Thinking 'The Chipmunks' cute (?) squeaks are only about 2X normal voice frequency range.

If you want this so that you can locate periods of silence, consider using Create waveform instead.
