What could be causing Magix Music Maker to skip where objects join?

When I first used Magix Music Maker Premium 2013 it was seamless, flawless and worked like a charm for months. Now there are clicks, skips, hesitations where objects join. I have updated the software and installed patches and it still doesn't work properly. No changes were made to the program or my PC until AFTER the problems started occurring. It happens constantly, not just occasionally. Magix Music Maker Premium 2013 Version 19.0.7.61 (UDC2). Operating system Windows 8.1 Integrated graphics: Radeon HD 7310

Something has changed on the computer or you are mixing different sound file types on the timeline.

Was Music maker installed on Windows 8.1 or was it originally installed on Windows 8 and you have upgraded to 8.1?

Either way re-run the software installer and select the Repair option.
