I am unsure if I clicked something or if this is a problem others are having (didn't see any in other posts)

When I see loops in the soundpool dock I can see their waveforms. But once I drag it into my project, it just has two straight lines, can't see the waveforms anymore. They still play sound, I just can't visually see it right. It wasn't like this yesterday so I am unsure of what has happened.

I checked and my program is up to date but when I try to search this problem I'm only seeing results for Adobe or for "Imported songs not playing sound" which doesn't help me.

Any ideas on what's going on and how to fix?
