Welcome to the Sound Forge forum @Donnnnie.

It should be at the bottom of Effects menu, Otherwise you can also have it in your FX Favorites menu, Go to "FX Favorites> Organize> Direct X" and drag it to Favorites.

It should also be available for an effects chain, again, under Direct X (or Sony or All)

Hey @rraud I now have a new problem. I'm getting beeping sounds throughout my project after applying the wavehammer effect. Any ideas? Some posts online talk about this happening when using unregistered copies of Sound Forge but mine is a 100% store-bought box copy.

That is usually an indication something is not activated the. AFAIK, WH never needed a separate activation. Was the iZotope DX Mastering Suite II installed along with SF? That needed a separate activation. Beeping usually occurs when a plug-in is open whilst editing as well. what format are you rendering to?

You could try a full reset.. or the Elevated Privilege registry tweak, which related to activation. A uninstall / re-install may be in order though, If do uninstall, use a third-party uninstaller the cleans the registry.

btw, I have to perform the reg. tweak after almost every other Win 10 update. The only good part is I not longer need a cheat sheet.
