Wave events being moved

I am using acid 11 where I have recorded midi tracks to audio tracks. When I come back to the project most of the wave events have been moved - mostly forward by nearly a beat though sometimes back by the same distance.

At about one beat in, there is a notch in the event as if two events have been pushed together with a fade out and a fade in but there is only one event. Also, everything after the notch is ahead by about a beat throwing off the timing especially with a couple of the waves not being notched.

I have attempted splitting the event at the notched point and dragging the end of the wave out but the notch appears again. It has ruined hours of work and I cannot seem to find a way around it or to stop it from happening.

What is going on?

Hi

The issues would suggest the Snapping option is set to Grid only (Ctrl+F8).

I just tried recording a midi to a wave and saved with the Grid snapping off and still got the same problem.

It doesn't seem to matter whether I have grid snapping on or off, I still get the same problem with random wave tracks having a notch in the event and everything after the notch moved forward by a partial beat.

What is going on? If I am unable to resolve this issue, it renders Acid worthless to me for some of the projects I am working on.
