In MEP - WAV files always import at about two thirds volume - I do not know why Magix have decided to do this.

You will see this as the audio object not showing as filling the whole height of the track. If you double click the little diamond shaped volume handle in the middle of the audio track it will return to full volume and fill the track height. you can left click and drag this still higher (or lower) if you wish.

If the track has been recorded at too low level you can Rt. click it and choose "Normalise" and it will increase its volume to maximum stopping short of clipping.

The audi wasnt recorded too low. It is perfectly normal. Only lower volume when importing to Magix. Dunno why. I just want it to be the exact same volume as the original file so I get concistency in my recordings.
