I am new to Sound Forge so it's maybe a simple solution to this. But when I go to View-Plugin chain, add a VST and draw an envelope for one of the parameters, I get a very crackling sound when I play back the audio. This happens to most of my VSTs with a very few exceptions. Is there something I can do to solve this?
There are noise issues reported with Waves plug-in in the Vegas audio forum, but not with SF Pro 12, nor do not recall reports of problems with envelopes in general. They function normally in my tests with a variety of Sony/Magix and other third-party VSTs from iZotope, Plug-in Alliance, Waves, ect. I can only suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the latest SF12 build. If the problem persists, contact Magix tech support
Thank you for your reply! I reinstalled now, but unfortunately the issue is still there. This also happens when I draw envelopes for parameters in plugins that came with SF (I have tested Wavehammer and Variverb), so I should probably contact support.
