Voice over with Background Music Open Second Track...HOW

klowetx wrote on 8/18/2015, 4:35 PM

I have Audio Cleaning Lab 2016 and not able to place the imported (Load Audio) music file on a seperate track from my recorded voice.  I have done this on a previous version.  The "Help" says to Load your background music (which I did) then move the object with the music below the spoken portion (does not work for me). It also states the second track can be opened with the "2" key.  It's probably something simple that I have over looked but I my "2" key does not open the second track.  Nor can I find anything else to open it.

Have you tried selecting 2 tracks in the Options menu ?

Thanks johnebaker, but the options do not have a "2 Track" option.  The Audio & Music Lab 2016 Premium has the "2 Track" button in the same position as my old Audio Cleaning Lab 2013.  The new Audio Cleaning Lab 2016 doesn't seem to have the ability.

Check the program settings to see if there is an option for the number of tracks to display.

If there is no option then I would suggest you send an email to support at magix.com and ask if the second track has been dropped in the latest version.

Hi,

That may be one of the differences when Magix split the product in 2014 into Audio & Music Lab2014 Premium and Audio Cleaning Lab 2014, and now in 2016. If you don't see the 2 track button at the upper right of the screen, then the program doesn't have it. I have been warning people to get AML instead of ACL as an upgrade to ACL2013 and before as the new ACL is actually a downgrade. I suggest that you contact Magix to exchange ACL for AML if possible. AML is really very good, especially with the eFX essential tools that come with it.
