All videos that are longer than just a few seconds recorded with Canon XF 100 camera (MFX) freeze. The audio is playing correctly though. I have Video Deluxe 2014.

Movie Edit Pro ( Video Deluxe ) 2014 does not support the MXF file format.
Check if conversion software came with the camera to convert to MPEG-2 or another HD format that is supported.

Assuming you are using the same camera as the original poster ( OP ) of this topic then my answer below still holds.
The cameras video format is not supported by the MEP 2015 and you need to convert the video to a supported format.
You will find all the supported video formats in the programs installed PDF manual which is available under Help.
