Magix video saver 8th edition. When trying to copy a vhs tape to computer, the picture has a lot of interference and flickering. I'm using windows 10 64 bit and the computer has Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4460 CPU @ 3.20GHz and 8,00 Gb of RAM
Have you tried playing the file from your VHS player directly through a TV? If you have, does it still display interference and flickering? If so, this would suggest a problem either with the actual VHS tape or the playback machine. The tape itself could be damaged, especially on its edge, or it could be partially demagnetised, or it could be "sticky" and so not running smoothly; the playback machine may have dirty heads or the tracking may be set wrongly.
In other words, there can be many different causes for this sort of problem; you need to try and eliminate the possible causes, one by one.
Whenever I am asked to transfer any tape-based video footage to computer the first thing I do, before any attempt to "play" it, is fast forward and then fast rewind the whole of the tape. This helps to ensure the tape is running smoothly.
Then I make sure the heads on the playback machine are "clean".
Only after this do I even attempt to play the tape and transfer the footage to computer.
So, for your situation, try and establish definitively exactly where the problem is originating.
I´ve played the tape through a TV and it doesn't display interference and flickering. The heads have also been cleaned and the whole playback machine has been serviced. Actually, I have four serviced VCRs and the problem is the same with all of them. The tape has also been fast forwarded and rewinded, so the problem isn´t there.
The video converter is the red and white stick and I think the problem is there. Should the red light be on all the time when I´m using the stick? Now it only flashes now and then and sometimes I have to touch and move the stick a little bit to make the light go on.
As a first step, update the drivers for the USB stick to the latest see here.

Check all the connections are fully home - if necessary try a different USB port.
Ensure there is no other electrical equipment eg fluorescent, compact fluorescent or LED lights, air conditioners, TV's etc near the VCR/computer - these can cause eledtrical interference especially if the computer/laptop is not adequately earthed/shielded.
