Hi

Can you gives us more information about the video files - source, format, and codecs  - use GSpot to analyse a clip to determine if you have the correct codecs installed and that the files length is correct.

Alright, so before I upgraded to the 2013 edition of Movie Edit Pro, I was using MEP 15. Putting both video files into the 2 software versions, 15 is reading the frame rate at a lower and more accurate rate (about 27 or so FPS). MEP 2013 is automatically reading them at 30 FPS, which is resulting in a lower video length. The files were recorded with an Iphone and are obviously .MOV quicktime format. Any idea for a fix???

Hi

IIRC the iPhone uses a modified H.264 file format and the frame rate is a nominal 30fps however this can vary slightly.

Try using a Video Converter to convert the iPhone video files into a standard format that MEP can read correctly.

Please run GSpot as I advised to determine the exact format of the MOV files from the iPhone and post the results back here.
