Vegas Pro won't let me in

I am using Vegas Pro 16 in Windows 11.

I just tried to open it and was sent to device management. Nothing has changed on my system since the last time I used Vegas Pro, and I am using the same computer I always use. This computer is listed among the currently activated devices. Despite this I received an error message informing me that I have reached reached the maximum number of simultaneously usable devices for this program.

Any ideas how to troubleshoot this?
