VEGAS PRO 18 - Poor quality programme

Jesse-Shannon wrote on 3/24/2021, 5:05 AM

Hi,

Why is Vegas Pro (which I paid over $300 for) crashing all the time after I select an add on? I run a brand new I9 10900k with an RTX 3070 with 32GB. Why is it so poorly optimised?

Also, why isn't Vegas Pro 18 listed in the "new Post" product listing drop down menu? Is that saying how little they believe in their product or have I missed something?

And lastly, after this update, I wonder why the "Titles and Texts" animations no longer seem to work when I drop them into my project? They are just motionless. Sometimes they then work and show the animation, then again - back to nothing. Terrible.

I also wonder if anyone else has had these issue. I have used Magix products for a long time and always looked past the crashes, but I think today was the straw that broke the camels back.

Any help would be grand. Failing this, perhaps a different video editor and a refund is in order?

Thanks.

Jesse

Hi Jesse.

Yes, you are on the wrong website. Vegas has it's own set of forums if you had looked at the post here on this site.

Thank you - an example of how confusing Magix has unnecessarily made things. I'll go there instead. Cheers :)
