Vegas Movie Studio 17 Platinum - Major SW upgrade does not install

Hi, this morning started my Vegas Movie Studio 17 Platinum and system identified a Major SW upgrade. I proceed to download. Download was successful..however this did not install no matter what?. Therefore repeated process several times but to no avail.I keep getting request for update every-time on startup.

Any suggestions

(Windows 10 Core i5 16gb ram)

Can you tell us how you came to this forum? We are getting many users of Vegas Pro and Vegas Movie Studio arriving here only to be re-directed to the correct forum.

We would appreciate the feedback on this.

Thanks for the advise I have followed recommendation and joined Vegas LINK. I have an account thru my purchases so see nothing untoward. Also been a customer for several years and always from Magix Store so little wonder. Need to explore a bit more about product brandings as I always thought they one and the same!!
