I have read ALL of the threads here regarding people experiencing a CRASH when they attempt to "Render As..." I have tried ALL solutions (including uninstalling ALL Vegas/Magix software, down to the Registry level) and NONE have worked.

I had been running Sony Vegas Move Studio 9 for many years.

I recently (finally!) upgraded to Vegas Edit 19. (Though this problem ALSO happens in Vegas Edit 20 Demo.)

No matter what I do, when I hit "Render As" the program crashes with a "VEGAS Encountered a Problem" error dialog box. In Vegas Edit 19, when I try to explain the problem and check "Send logs", etc. (or even if I don't) and hit SEND, the "Contacting Magix Support Site" notice happens, and then the error box crashes. So those messages aren't getting through.

In Vegas Edit 20, at least the error report completes.

But, having FINALLY upgraded from v9.0a I can't use either v19 or v20 (latest builds), because the program crashes before I even get to the Render dialogue box. This happens on two different computers that I have tried it on.

It DID render for me once or twice on both computers. But, since then, it won't render on EITHER computer no matter what I try.

PLEASE HELP! I am dead in the water at this time, and MUST get some renders out on deadline!!! :-(
