Using VSTs Bought in Music Maker 28's In-App Store in Acid Pro 8

Jedd-Cole wrote on 3/17/2020, 11:48 AM

I bought String Ensemble in Music Maker 28 before starting to play around with Acid Pro 8. I'd like to be able to use that VST in Acid Pro, since it recognizes it in the Plug-In manager anyway. But it requires an activation code that I don't have. Is there a way to share this over for use in Acid Pro even though I bought it through MM's in-app store?

I've met this problem several months ago, and the reply from MAGIX support staff is NO. But you may able to request for a refund for String Ensemble. Mine wrong vst is Saxophonia, and I just got refunded within a month.

So, which one have you got refunded, the String Ensemble? the Saxophonia or the ACID pro 10?

I sent my request to Magix and they gabe me a comic link:

To help you find the problem more accurately, please download and run
the Syscheck program, it's self-explanatory and you can find it at
this web address:

http://support.magix.net/syscheck/syscheck.php?tn=2018051517004387

Syscheck gets updated daily to weekly. It also has an "expiration
date". That's the only way to react to Windows problems or related
issues as quickly as possible.

We are constantly developing our Syscheck program so always make sure
you have the newest version.  It's of small size and takes a short
time to download, even when using a modem. After every change in your
system, please run the syscheck program again.

Before you run the syscheck program, please make sure all other
programs are closed including any Magix programs.

Double click with the left mouse button to open.

Now the problem is still there, but I won't refund. I want the VSTis working.

@Yelandkeil

Did you follow the advice offered and download and run the Magix Syscheck utility and then send Magix all the results? It might take a rather long time to complete, depending on the complexity or otherwise of the software and hardware in your computer, but it will allow Magix Support to troubleshoot whether there are any problems on your PC which might be causing your issue. It certainly is not nor is it intended to be a comic link.
